With the main objective to learn the best practices from different organizations on climate change adaptation with Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) aspect, ASHA organized two days workshop on 6th and 7th of July 2018 at Godawari Resort, Lalitpur.
The event was participated by representatives from various government and non-government organizations working directly or indirectly on Climate Change in the country.
The objectives of the workshop was:
To explore the contribution of climate change adaptation and GESI consideration in different project /programs
To share national level best practices of climate change adaptation with GESI consideration including ASHA Project
To discuss and make some way forwards in identify the role of stakeholders/governments /donors in restructuring context in order to prepare and mainstream climate change adaptation plan
