Social Mobilization is the cornerstone of participatory approaches in all types of rural development activities. It is an approach and tool that enables people to organize for collective actions by pooling resources and building harmony to resolve common problems and work towards community advancement. Social Mobilization is a powerful instrument for strengthening human and institutional resources development at local level. Internalizing the importance of social mobilization programme, ASHA project has been identified it as the key means for creating awareness among the climate vulnerable people.
